Eagle Rays,

Mola-mola.

The coast of Nusa Ceningan, located opposite Nusa Penida, offers several dive sites from North to South.

Due to its geographical location, the channel located between Nusa Ceningan and Nusa Penida is known to be regularly subject to swells and strong currents. These conditions attract wildlife, such as marbled rays, eagle rays, barracudas, big jacks.

As at all dive sites located in the channel, the water can, depending on the season, be cold with temperatures of around twenty degrees Celsius, even dropping to 16 ° C when crossing thermoclines. . This relative drawback, however, provides the advantage of having chances of crossing mola-mola here too.

The topography of these dive sites is very varied and you will be able to evolve on magnificent drop-offs, marked out in places, crevices, small canyons carved by the current and the surf, small bays and coral plateaus.

This varied topography will allow you to meet a wide variety of corals, sponges, gorgonians, fish (angelfish, surgeonfish, oriental sweetlips, anthas, triggerfish, cochin fish ...). and nudibranchs.

These sites promise fabulous potential encounters, but they are demanding; they are therefore reserved for experienced divers.

In addition, due to the strong currents (potential presence of downdrafts and updrafts) and their changeable nature, it is not always possible to dive at these sites.

NOTE :
All the dives offered are subject to good weather conditions; these can change quickly. Therefore, for security reasons, we reserve the right to cancel dives or to modify and adapt the planned program at any time.

Check our terms and conditions in case of cancellation, termination or for payment terms.
