The Mangrove dive site is located north of the island of Nusa Lembogan; island located west of Nusa Penida. It obviously takes its name from the presence of mangroves on part of this coast.
The presence of this mangrove generates a rich and diverse underwater life. Indeed, as in many places of the world, the mangrove plays a role of nursery for a good number of species.

We will get into the water above a coral plateau teeming with coral (of course) and sponges, where reef fish abound.
The topography, gently sloping, allows a gradual descent on a slope where angel fish, parrot fish, surgeon fish are present in large numbers.
In the blue, you will probably see jacks, tunas or barracudas.

Whatever your level, you can only be seduced by this dive site; indeed, whatever the depth to which you can evolve you are sure to observe life and color; as proof, the turtles evolve in the zone from 0 to 15 m. It is rare to see them at greater depths.
This site is also very famous for snorkeling.

The currents are sometimes strong, the dives on this site are often drift dives. The dive ends at a specific location, regardless of the strength of the current, and therefore the duration of the dive, for safety reasons. Indeed, the site located just after is Blue Corner and is intended for experienced divers.
